Who is this guy?
Raised in Chicago, Pat August received his BFA in acting from the theater conservatory at Chicago College of Performing Arts. Upon graduating, they received the Sarah Siddons Scholarship and continued their training at Second City Chicago and under Ivana Chubbuck in her masterclass in West Hollywood. They are currently represented by Aqua Talent in Los Angeles.
Pat August is best known for his appearance in the short film Admissions of Desire, which is currently (2025) being screened across the nation and internationally. In 2023 August co-stared as TODD in the web series Dana and The Wolf and may have been seen as the reoccurring role of SAD (otherwise known as “The Standard American Diet”) in KOS’ “Don’t be Sad” marketing campaign.
As a writer, August co-wrote Admissions of Desire, which was nominated for best screenplay at Sub-Tropical Independent Film Festival and premiered at the Hammer Museum as part of the Flux Screening series in LA. Currently, August is in pre-production for a pilot they developed titled Jimmy The Bastard and is a writer on the Evergreen podcast, an audio Soap Opera, which tells the story of Evergreen. Their work as a playwright has been featured with Rhino Fest, Drinking & Writing Theater, Chicago 24, The Make Ready Reading Series, and Lakeside Shakespeare Theater.
Upcoming projects include, Rigor, which August will be producing and staring in, I Joined A Cult, Evergreen Volume 2, Jimmy The Bastard, and Symbiotic.
